Bee pollen is one of the most complete supplements you can get, and it exists to perform a number of functions. When you include bee pollen supplement in your diet, you get most of the nutritional components that are needed by the body.  Some people also take bee pollen diet pills to achieve weight loss, especially because it's difficult to lose weight with just diet and exercise these days.  These supplements are needed to hasten weight loss and make it more effective.  Bee pollen supplements is just one of the options but weight loss is not the only thing bee pollen can do. People are known to take bee pollen for a number of reasons. These are some of the benefits that bee pollen is known for:

  • Improve nutrition - The dietary customs of people these days usually make nutrition unbalanced and deficient. This is something that bee pollen corrects.  This is because of the rejuvenating elements that can be found in the bee pollen, and this results to overall better nutrition.
  • Increase stamina and athletic performance - People can also take bee pollen to improve their performance in sports and in other athletic activities.  This is because bee pollen is known to increase strength and stamina, which athletes need to function.  In Chinese medicine, it's even considered as an energy tonic.
  • Relieve joint pain - For those feeling aches and sores in the muscles and joints, bee pollen could also be useful.  It even lessens the effects of premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Treatment of allergies - There are also those who turn to bee pollen to relive or treat their allergies, particularly hay fever, pollen-induced asthma, and a wide range of respiratory problems.
  • Reduce gastrointestinal problems - Many health conditions involve the gastrointestinal tract, and bee pollen has also been known to help relieve problems like diarrhea, colitis, constipation, and even enteritis.  Bee pollen is also used to improve the urine flow of those who have problems urinating.
Aside from all of these benefits, bee pollen is also known to be very effective in helping lose weight. Those who want to lose some excess weight turn to bee pollen diet pills.  It's clear that bee pollen is very effective for a lot of things, and losing weight is just another one of its benefits.

This is because in essence, bee pollen weight loss pills can do wonders with weight control and stabilization.  The reason why a lot of diet plans fail is that it's really hard to stabilize weight.  Sometimes, you lose a lot of weight for a certain period of time, only to gain it back again.  Stabilization is what this supplement helps to achieve, and it does so because of characteristics that are innate to it.  When used together with an effective weight loss program, the pollen diet helps speed up metabolism.  This means that bee pollen, which is in itself already low in calories, also helps speed up the burning of the calories that you've already taken in.  By speeding up caloric burn and metabolic rate, you tend to lose weight faster.  This also means that in case you have some imbalance in your metabolism that caused abnormal weight gain or weight loss, bee pollen also corrects it.

Additionally, bee pollen weight loss could be effective because of the presence of lechithin, which helps flush out fat from the body.  When you take the best bee pollen weight loss pills, the bee pollen helps lower the low-density lipoproteins (LDL).  At the same time, it also increases high-density lipoproteins (HDL), which are known to help in protecting against heart disease and bad cholesterol.

If all of this isn't enough, bee pollen also helps suppress the appetite and eliminate cravings.  Whatever your current weight is, the bee pollen helps by signaling fullness or hunger (whatever is required).  This means if you need to lose weight, the bee pollen helps exert an appetite suppressant, and if you need to gain weight, the reverse happens.

How Bee Pollen is Obtained

From the name "bee pollen" alone, you would think about bees sucking nectars in flowers and you're right.  Basically, flower pollen is collected from the male seed of flowers.  When the honeybee settles on a flower, she takes the loose and powdery pollen from the flower's stamen using her front legs.  To do this, the bee moistens the pollen with some honey, and scrapes it with pollen combs in her legs. Nature miraculously turns this into a single gold grain.

Each bee pollen pellet has over two million flower pollen grains, and to get one teaspoon, you'll need around 2.5 billion grains.  That takes a month's work from a honeybee, and this is why bee pollen weight loss pills are very valuable.

Whatever you do, we urge you to get help somewhere.  You've got nothing to lose, except that weight.

Taking steps to boost the metabolism by doing the following will help you.

  • Build up muscle through exercise - Even when you're not doing any strenuous physical activities, the body still burns calories.  Those who have more muscles tend to have a high resting metabolic rate, so building up muscles can actually help you lose weight.
  • Make your workouts more intense - Exercising regularly is key, but to speed up metabolism you can also step up your workout routine and make it more intense. Short bursts of running during a regular walk or jog could do wonders.
  • Stay hydrated - Those who consume eight or more glasses of water in a day tend to have higher metabolic rates.  This is because your body requires water to function, and if you're dehydrated all the time, this tends to slow down the metabolism.
  • Spice up your life - Eating food that's rich in spices can also speed up metabolism, because these have natural chemicals that automatically kick up metabolism.
  • Black coffee and green tea - Take black coffee and green tea can speed up metabolism because of the caffeine and catechins, helping you burn more calories.
The rest is up to you.

Elimination - Diet - That - Could - Change - Your - Life - For - Good
You may not realize it, but the foods you're eating every day could be slowly corrupting your health and shortening your lifespan.  But how do you know?  For many people, toxic foods are hard to spot, especially for those who've already cleaned up their diets and feel like they are eating healthy.

For example, I recently read an article where a patient who went to the doctor because she'd gotten a facial and was told she had "allergy skin".  The slight redness and tiny bumps on her cheeks were more noticeable to her than anybody else, but they were definitely there.  She had already gone mostly gluten-free, was a trained health coach, and overall had a very healthy diet.  But after speaking with her, they realized that she had signs and symptoms of system-wide inflammation: needing allergy shots for dust and mold, and having gas and bloating that where only soothed by taking digestive enzymes.  This patient had already done a lot of hard work in solving her issues, but it was clear that she still had leaky gut, which is the underlying cause of many people's allergies and inflammation.  She came in because she wanted food allergy testing.  She left with an elimination diet.  Here's why.  Testing can be illuminating, but the "gold standard," meaning the last word, in figuring out if foods are causing inflammation (contributing to everything from autoimmune arthritis, to irritable bowel, to acne), is to cut out the culprit foods for about a month and see how you feel when you reintroduce them.

I actually recommend that everyone-yes everyone-do an elimination diet at least once.  We're doing this is the Skinny Bee Community right now!!

So how do you do it and not make it complicated?  Here is my easy 7-step plan for doing your own elimination diet.  You might be surprised by what you learn!

1.  Take stock.  It's hard to know where you're going unless you know where you're going unless you know where you are.

Do you have skin issues?  Digestive issues like gas, bloating, or intermittent constipation?  Bad allergies? How's your energy level?  What about your mood?  Ever feel like you suffer from brain fog?  These are just some potential symptoms of food sensitivities.

So, before you begin an elimination diet, start at your head and go to your toes, and make a list of everything you notice in your body, however subtle or long-standing the symptoms has been.  This sets you up to notice important changes when they happen.

2.  Eliminate the usual suspects for 23 days.

The basic elimination diet is as simple as this:
No gluten, diary, eggs, soy, fast food, or alcohol for 23 days.
Why 23 Days?
Antibodies, which are the proteins that your immune system makes when it reacts to foods, take around 21 to 223 days to turn over, so if you don't quit things to which you're sensitive for at least that time, you won't get the full effect of eliminating them.

Why Booze?
Eliminating alcohol is partly for the detox factor.  But alcohol also has a lot of sugar that helps things like yeast and harmful bacteria if your gut thrive.  So when you eliminate alcohol, you may feel better in a few weeks, not just because of the absence of a sleep disruptor and a depressant in your life, but because you've actually changed changed the flora in your gut that are critical to keep you healthy!

If this is your reaction, do not freak out!  You can do this.  The diet requires a little grocery shopping and taking a few extra minutes a day to prepare food.  We're all habituated to fast-food, easy prep, and taking two seconds to round up and scarf down a meal.  The problem is that typically food that can be prepared and consumed this way makes us sick over time.
New habits take 21 days to form, so the yogis say, which is also why we're doing a 23-day elimination diet!  We want these new habits to die hard.

3.  But seriously....what do I eat?
30% "clean" protein, i.e. organic, hormone-free, grass-fed, happy, lean beef, chicken, and wild fish and shellfish
70% vegetables, legumes (think beans and lentils), nuts, seeds, seaweeds, and gluten-free grains like quinoa
See it's that simple!

4.  What to eat & what to avoid
DO...

DO eat fish. (But watch out for fish on the NRDC's high mercury list like tuna and swordfish).
DO eat lots of fiber, fresh whole foods, and unprocessed meals you make yourself.
DO eat lots of healthy fats found in olive oil, ghee, coconut oil, sunflower oil, flax oil, walnut oil, and advocados.

DO NOT

Do NOT eat processed health bars if possible.   They often have 15 grams (or more) of sugar.  If you need them for an emergency snack, the kinds I like are Go Raw pumpkin bars and Kind's "Nuts and Spices" variety, because they are very low in sugar.
Do NOT carbo load on gluten-free breads, cereals and crackers.  Totally cool to eat some of these, but in an ideal world, you're not just replacing a lot of refined carbs with a lot of gluten free refined carbs.
Watch out of oats, they almost always have gluten!

5.  How do I reintroduce foods the right way!
This is also much simpler than people make it out to be.
On day 24, pick one thing you eliminated --like gluten, OR diary, OR eggs--but not more than one, and eat it.
See how you feel over the next 48 hours.  If you have no reaction after two days, eat the same food again, and for a second time, notice how you feel.  From there, it's up to you whether or not to re-incorporate that food into your diet on a regular basis.
Once you've made a call on the first food you reintroduce, pick another one and follow the same steps.
